These antibiotics (bactrim) are really screwing with my blood sugar, and I'm not quite sure how to best manage the swings. Protein snacks, right? And how often? (If I have to set a timer to avoid these lows, I will do so!) All I know is that by the time I'm feeling hungry, it's too late.

Blergh. May the antibiotics kill that damn bug good and dead, 'cause I don't want this to be for nothing.

That is the same anti-botic that we give to the pups (bactrim) when they are sick.

Love Sonia

But... if it's really hypo- and not hyperglycemia, you'd rather have to try and balance it with carbs, wouldn't you?

That's what I was wondering. Seems the fat-carbs-protein combo is the way to go.
