It turns out the financial aid letter wasn't a fuck up, it was just the school's roundabout way of telling me I got a (random?) scholarship. Which is cool, but no less confusing.

Maybe I should check my email again to see if there's some sort of explanation that I missed?

But, well, go me.

ETA: Ah. Looked it up, and it's a need-based scholarship, so nothing to do with my being awesome. *pouts for two seconds* Ach well. Still, free money is always good!

Exactly! Turns out it's a need-based scholarship which means they aren't celebrating my awesomeness at all. *pouts* This time, anyway. ;-j

Now to remember to turn it in on Friday so I can actually get the money (and whether it will be a refund check or paid forward to next semester, I do not care!)
