Dear Body,
May. 11th, 2012 01:31 pmYou and I have had our problems, but it seemed like we were working them out to our mutual satisfaction over the last year and a bit. I was beginning to actually trust you again, thinking that I could rely on you to not be a bitch break down unexpectedly as long as I listened to your warnings (which, you have to admit, I have been doing a good job on lately).
So, I've gotta ask, what's with this new chest/gas thing? Is it the B vitamins? Is it the kale? Or are youfucking me over upset about something else? Maybe my increased activity level of late? Whatever it is, would you please be a little clearer on the cause so I can cut it out, because I am really tired of this particular pain and rather displeased to have it showing up again. (<--- me bending over backwards to suit you.)
Frustrated love,
Me
At any moment now, I will be receiving a call from some guy in a truck, asking if I'm home so he can deliver myshit compost. I'm kind of curious (and nervous) to see how big the pile will actually be. *wibbles* But I am really, really excited to be getting my garden started! On Monday, the digsafe people will be coming out to mark lines to avoid, and then I can start looking for my tree and shrubs!
The condo landscapers will be coming back to the neighborhood on Wednesday, so I imagine we'll be getting the sod within a week or two. Yay! We'll have curb appeal again! But before they show up, I need to outline my garden so I don't have to tear up newly placed sod.
(I have to remember to ask the landscape dudes what kind of sprinkler they recommend.)
This is looking like a labor intensive weekend, though, what with spreading the pile of dirt and, hopefully, putting in the walkway. Not to mention the mowing and the weeding... But I'm looking forward to it. The weather looks like it's supposed to be beautiful (and dry) till Sunday. And I really want my home to look as nice on the outside as I've made it look on the inside.
Now if only the dirt guy would show so I can get out and start weeding. I want to get down to watching the grass grow, darn it! ;-)
Hope you all have lovely weekends, spent as you wish.
