Unpopular opinions addendum

averygoodun42I'm not sure I can come up with 15, but here are a few opinions that I hold dear and would like to share.
1. Ron is not stupid. He's a teenage boy. There is a difference.
2. When a character dies, they're dead, folks. Unless you want to see them as Inferi, no one ain't coming back from beyond the veil. It's harsh, but that's life. Er, death.
3. If you ask for concrit, expect harshness. Expect your work to be torn to pieces because, chances are, you aren't Tolstoy. You do have a lot to learn, and sometimes it ain't a pretty process.
4. Hermione is intelligent, but she's also a teenage girl. She is not unusually mature, she just seems so compared to the boys.
5. Hermione is not a genius. Dumbledore and Voldemort are the only geniuses in the books, and even they are not infallible.
5. Snape is an immature bastard. He never grew up and is emotionally stunted. He may be courageous, shrewd and over thirty, but his mindset is still stuck in fifth year.
6. The HP books are an argument against BDSM. Think about it. Voldemort is most obviously the bad guy, and he makes everyone around him call him "Master" and "My Lord." He likes causing pain. On the people who call him "Master" and "My Lord." He likes to possess people, and, frankly, you can't get further into bondage than that.
