Well, almost. I only have to touch up the wall paint (assuming client has some left over) and put a protective coat of poly on after a couple days. Maybe next weekend.

But I'M DONE!!!

And here is a semi-decent pic of the results.

Both sides are cut off, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with this depiction. I'm happy enough with the mural itself that I do consider it done. DONE!!!!

It only took 8 days.

I'm definitely charging more for the next one.

Thank you, Gin! I'm never completely satisfied with my work, but I'm certainly happy enough with this to leave it be!

Wow! That is really beautiful! Great job! I could imagine seeing that would be incredibly relaxing to your clients, er... clients! It was a chiropractic office or some kind of dr. wasn't it?

Thank you, hon! It is a chiropractor's office. It's where he cracks everyone's backs, so hopefully it will be nice and relaxing for them all. :-)

It looks great, and seems like a wonderful addition to a waiting room.

Thanks, although it isn't the waiting room. It's where everyone goes to get cracked. :-) I hope they find it as relaxing as the doc wanted it to be!

So I'm admiring the lovely gradations in the colour of the water, and thinking, "Gosh, those black things Avery painted into the foreground look like massage tables."

::headdesk::

It is *gorgeous*. You could sell that painting.

*snort* Unfortunately, I'm not that good at painting illusions. Oh that I were.

Thank you, dear. I did. ;-)

It's very peaceful looking. Alas, I have no artistic talent what so ever. So I must live vicariously through those who do. :)

THanks! That was the intent. Funny, but I didn't think it was all that peaceful. Mind you, I have a meteorologist for a father, so I know what those clouds mean! Haha!

And alas, it seems that artistic talent isn't necessary in today's art world. So, if you can bs up a storm, I recommend conceptual art! It's all the rage.

(Sorry. Bitter art school flashback.) We all have talents that others can envy, though. What's yours?

I am a drama geek. I of course have the required (and rather useless) theater degree, did drama all through school, now I do community theater. I also did ballet, tap, and jazz dance for about 12 years, until I blew out my knee. :)

Coolness!

Ah, so I can live vicariously through your coordination. I might be able to dance to save my life, but only if it isn't too complicated. ;-)

Thank you! A visit to a Caribbean beach does sound nice, although it'll sound much nicer come February, don't you think?
