So, knowing that time is mutable, would you be satisfied by a two hour course covering

Lesson plan:

Materials and how to use: (no more than 15 minutes, probably not even 10 minutes)
  • pencils vs. chalk vs. charcoal
  • pencil sharpness (i.e. blunted edges best) and use (light strokes)
  • plain paper vs. colored paper
  • erasers
  • calipers, straight sticks

Basic head shape: (15 minute lecture/demonstration, 20 minutes practice)
  • bone structure
  • proportions
  • different angles (full, ¼, ¾, profile, etc. Most will be in pamphlet; class focus on full)
  • facial feature shapes (eye sockets, mouth lines, etc.)

Shadowing: (20 minutes lecture/demonstration, 30 minutes practice)
  • Eyes
  • nose
  • temporal mandibular
  • mouth
  • reflective light

Personality (10 minute lecture/demonstration, rest of allotted time to practice)
  • Eyebrows
  • nose
