Quick update

Poor Geoff has bronchitis. He's currently asleep on the couch, though I imagine at some point he'll be woken up by the phone ringing when his work notices he's not there.

Page and I, I think, are fighting off the same thing, but with better success. I'm tired and weaker than usual, and Page has started coughing, but we're still holding on, so that's good. I think we're all going to be taking it very easy this weekend. (Cleaning day will comprise of laundry and a bit of damp dusting. I think even sweeping can wait till we're feeling better (and our lungs are less vulnerable).)

Unfortunately, it's a struggle to focus on anything. Class reading has been a bit of a bitch, seeing as accounting texts aren't known for their fascinating plots or characterizations. There are interesting bits, however, like the tiny segment on how managers manipulate the numbers...

I have been reading your posts, and I'm sorry for the lack of comments. I've typed a few comments here and there that I then didn't post because I realized they came off as snarky or insulting when it wasn't what I meant at all. But thank you for sharing what's going on in your life. And yes, I mean you.

And now I need to go brush my teeth and get ready for class. Hopefully the tea will kick in and I'll wake up at some point. It's so difficult to stay focused (awake) during lectures when tired... Ah well. At least I managed to skim the chapter's text before hand.

Thanks, mum. I think we're mostly suffering from allergies, so I don't think the oil of oregano is going to help (though I made Geoff take some anyway).

Doesn't it suck? I've been feeling off my game for the last two weeks. Allergies for me, I think. Well, allergies and the start-of-school cold that's going around.

Yes it does, but for me it is the end of school, at least for 2 weeks. I think it is a mixture of allergies + head cold = no good.

I hope I shall be fine for this weekend as we travel to Canberra for one of H's eisteddfod's.
