I waaaaaaaannnnnt! (And so will you)
Nov. 26th, 2012 08:40 amExcept I don't have a yard large enough for one.
Ach well. Not practical enough for my position now, anyway.
I do believe I am finally beating this thing. I actually feel rather chipper (which is odd; antibiotics usually depress me) and, well, motivated. I did about three hours of homework last night before my brain turned to mush, and I'd say I have another three hours' worth to go today, but fortunately, I managed to get the majority of the dull reading done yesterday.
Related to school, it turns out that my biology teacher (next semester) is a member of my church. His son used to babysit Page (at church) before moving away to school in L.A. Small town. (And even smaller, the prof who uses the accounting classroom right after my Tuesday and Thursday classes is also a church member. Not to mention the wife of the public school district super.)
Too bad I'm terrible at networking. I'm actually building some connections to network! ;-)
Anyhoo, I'd better go get started on the day. Need to make my tea, do some crosswords and then get studying. If I have the time and energy, I hope to get out of the house in the early afternoon. (!) Haven't done that since Thursday.
Cheers!

Date: 2012-11-26 06:09 pm (UTC)Thank you! I hope so, too, but I'll just enjoy it while I'm feeling it, as this Fall has been horrible for illness.
Thanks! I am about to depart for the library. Maybe. If I get moving fast enough... ;-)

Date: 2012-11-26 06:10 pm (UTC)I think it would be worth making a small hill in one's yard to put that in! If the yard is large enough...

Date: 2012-11-27 12:24 am (UTC)It did go pretty well today, thanks. I have one problem for Wednesday's class left to do, but it shouldn't take more than fifteen minutes when my eyes and brain are working in concert again. Tomorrow. :-)
