Bullet point time!
- I am having way too much fun making my niece's Christmas present. It involves a skull I made out of sculpey (which is currently being hardened in boiling water of all things. Go figure. *giggles fiendishly*
- I got my first A- (of my college career). :-( It was on the "Once upon a time" accounting paper. My mum has persuaded me that I should talk with the professor about it next week, as I'm pretty sure the main reason for the markdown was that he, again, didn't see my "discussion of an article of interest." I'll chalk that up to better writing than he's used to encountering? I don't really care too much about the grade, as I put, oh, four hours total into that paper (including putting together the bibliography, which was an hour right there).
- However, I think I aced the test today. (Same class.) Maaaaybe only a 97%, but still, I think I got my best grade yet in this course.
- On another plus side, I just bought my biology books for less than $100. For both. Less than $90, actually. *makes rude gesture at accounting textbooks and college bookstore - which has the "used" price for one of them at $96 while the other is a digital rental at $97*
- I have also temporarily signed up for the intro to computer class starting in March. However, this is really a ruse so as to get the textbook info and study up on it enough to CLEP the course altogether. Granted, if the textbook info isn't posted as of Monday, I'll just go to the college bookstore and ask. Or, hell, I could email last semester's teacher (who is one of many teachers of this course) and just ask her. I think I'll do that. *nods* *unregisters*
- Taking two benedryl at bedtime has been helping soothe my evil eye enormously. Scary thing is that I wake up without a hangover, so I must be really needing the stuff. However, I'm still going to the eyebologist in a few minutes. Just to be on the safe side, ya know.
- Aaaaaaaand, that's about it. Page has been crankier than usual lately, making me think he's either about to grow or get sick. Or both. He had some growing pains in his legs the other evening, so probably the former. About time, too! He's almost shrimpy! (He will be the smallest of all his cousins this year. Even his younger cousin is two sizes bigger than him!)
- Yeah. That's it.
Happy weekend!!!!
