Well, the "snow" turned to freezing rain during the night, which left a lovely, crunchy coating of ice on everything. Fun, fun, fun. Actually, once the car started warming up enough to make the ice penetrable, it was fun breaking it off. Like a very miniature version of an ice-breaker ship going through the arctic. vroom. (Tea makes me chipper, k? Stop looking at me like that.) It also meant there was a ninety-minute delay to the school day, which meant Geoff and I got to sleep in! Oh, my body likes waking up at eight SO much more than 6:30, no matter what time I go to bed.
Meanwhile, I have my errands done, lunch eaten, and am now stalling for all I'm worth on getting the presents that need working on done. On the plus side, one of the errands accomplished was getting Geoff to the doctor for his *ahem* "annual" check-up. (It's been, what? Four years?) Blood-work has been ordered, and hopefully they will figure out some reason for why he's so very tired nowadays. Probably not, but you never know.
I suppose putting on some music is in order. Maybe that will help motivate me. Well, assuming I put on the right music. I don't think Pink Floyd will do the job today. ;-)
Right. Getting going now. Yes. I am. *nods*
