Last night I had an odd dream where Geoff and Page were watching a scifi-ish movie that was based on the idea that while John's (it was John, wasn't it?) visions of the end of times as written in Revelations were pretty much correct, it wasn't a vision from God that he saw, but from the Devil. The good didn't ascend; they stayed on Earth while everyone else descended (or, more accurately, were sucked into the gaping maw of the devil's mouth as he appeared in (and darkened) the sky. Awe inspiring sight, even if it was rather creepy to see a dark, fanged mouth where a sunset should be...).

The rest of the movie seemed to be based on the relationships the two main characters (futuristic soldiers) developed with the roving band of circus (or carnival?) performers they connected with in Texas. I wasn't watching it, as I had classes to go to, cons to attend and friends to catch up with.

*shrugs*

The funeral yesterday was a very nice one. The woman who passed was an imp of a person, and it was lovely to hear the stories of all those who were touched by her.

This poem was read and printed on the program. Not only is it a lovely poem, but it was a nice summary of the lady in question.

Fun with friends last night was fun. Mostly.

I got a better grade on this week's biology homework (98.5%). Would have been even better if I could distinguish my left from right reliably.

Didn't go for a test drive today because Page developed a case of lower-intestinal gastric distress right as we were preparing to go out. Which, it seems, may not be isolated, as both Geoff an I have unsettled tummies, too. Boo. However, Page did have some pretzels today, which I'm sure didn't help anything. *tsks*

Page also acted up in RE class at snack-time (well before the pretzels). And he got into a fight on Friday at recess (right after a snack-time containing his third apple (the school snack of the day)) at after-school. What I'm afraid of is that he's using hunger as a crutch ("a hungry man is an angry man") to keep himself from really developing self-control. *shrugs* Don't know. All I know is that this sudden regression scares me, and the weight of it is making me so tired. Well, that and this odd malaise that's hit the family.

Anyhoo. Don't really have anything to say. Mostly I just wanted to get that dream kernel down, and the link to "The Pond". Hope your weekends were good.

*hugs* Are you still waiting on any test results for Page that you can show to the school?

I'm sorry things are tough.
