First, I want to do this (#4). I very much doubt Geoff will let me, considering he likes to have drywall screws for hanging up half pound, glassless pictures that can literally be held up by thumbtacks. (I do the majority of picture hanging when he's not around. ;-)
Of course, I'm not sure where I'd do that, but still...
'Tis rainy. I managed to spend over an hour outside today when it was not raining, however. Still not sure how I managed that. But I got the front garden line adjusted, and now I just have to amend the soil a bit before I plant and transplant and whatnot. Yay! Almost a "finished" garden!
Page had a troublesome day at school. I think the humidity is mucking about with his lungs. That, or he's just being a brat at school. He wasn't a brat here, though, so yay!
Another thing that's been mucking with lungs is the cleaning stuff the Kirby people used when they scrubbed my kitchen floor last night. I swear the perfume is getting stronger with every hour that passes. I'm going to have to rinse the floor off either tonight or tomorrow, depending on when my inertia is overcome by nausea. Blergh to perfumy cleaning fluids! Blergh, I say!
The spirea are in bloom. Everything is looking pretty lush with all the rain we've been getting. Oh, and I think I know what kind of rhodo I want out back, when I can plant the back. Granted, I will probably not get that specific one, as I will choose from those available at nearby nurseries. And be happy with what I get, damn it.
I don't like the persnickitiness of functions. Get one little negative sign wrong, and the whole equation is blown. Granted, I think the fact that I've been doing maths while tired is partly to blame. (Don't derive while drunk or tired...)
(I swear I didn't add that paragraph in just to use that old pun.) (Honest!)
My computer class is looking like it's going to be a time-suck. Hopefully it won't be as bad as the syllabus and various other course paperwork make it seem.
But! I have a clean kitchen. Even if it is a bit rank with perfume. :-)
And I might, just might, get my husband back for the long weekend. That would be nice. For all of us.
