Most definitely good things

averygoodun42- Just got a call from Geoff, and his parents have driven up to visit with him! Geoff also got to have dinner with his best friend before said friend went out of town on a camping trip. So, yes, I miss my husband (even though it's only been two days now), but I'm so glad he's surrounded by loved ones.
- Granted, I wouldn't be as happy or blase about his being gone if Page weren't feeling SO much better. His eye swelling has gone down enough that the lumps are really visible, but not painful. In fact, he didn't even flinch when I applied the ointment tonight! So the antibiotics kicking in plus a bit of GI relief has made this a much happier house. MUCH happier.
- Ice. Cold cherry juice to flavor water with. A/C (in the house and in the car). Liquid salads (salad sorbet would be a more accurate term, since it isn't actually liquid, per se). Camisoles and shorts. Anything and everything that's been helping to beat the heat.
- The library had the book I had requested to be held when I stopped in.
- I've been enjoying watching ST:NG with Page. I've also been enjoying watching Page watch (or not watch) the show. He is one squirmy guy when something embarrassing comes up on screen. Takes after his mom, he does. ;-)
- This sense of sleepiness I have coming over me right now. I think I'm going to do take advantage of it before the bad part of my brain convinces me to stay up and do just one more thing. Scumbag brain...
