Another meme

Here's a another meme because I feel like it, and it's Friday, and I'm feeling friendly.
Say three nice things about the last ten people to post on your friends list.
Subversa: Not only are you a sweetheart of a person, but you're a talented writer to boot! You add to the fandom, rather than detract.
Karlajean: It is so inpsiring to hear how you are taking control of your life. It's a hard thing, and you seem to be making real progress. You make beautiful beads, from what little I've seen, and you have a great disposition.
Mundungus: You are... brilliant, bouncy and, from what I can tell, a beautiful person. You are a pleasure to know. *fangirls*
Randomchris: First thing that pops into my mind is that you make ashfae happy, and that makes you a wonderful person in my books. You also are incredibly talented, from what I've heard, and always seem to have a firm grip on reality, even whilst dangling your toes in frivolity.
Timestep: I don't know you very well, but it's obvious that you are a devoted mom (and your daughters are adorable, btw), intelligent and courageous. I'm looking forward to seeing how your writing develops.
Shiv: Do I really need to say anything nice about you? Surely you know it already. ;-) You are a rock for this fandom, both intellectually and creatively. Your wit is... I'm envious, frankly. And though you try to hide it, your sweet side that peeks through every now and again is very appealing. Oh, I'm supposed to be nice, aren't I? Erm... You hide your sweet side well enough that Lucius would be fooled (and be putty in your hands.)
Ginny: You are one of the most encouraging snd sweet people I know. You've a real knack with words, and your stories are always engaging. You are an inspiration to me.
Ladyofthemasque: you've a great style, and it's no wonder you've got a publishing contract. I love your default icon and was impressed to find out you drew it. You have a great sense of humor.
Keladry: You are such a talented writer, and it was a wonderful surprise to find out you're a talented artist as well! You make Hufflepuff a moste noble House. Thank you!
Zalena: Your intellect astounds me. You've got such a wide range of interests and at least seem so well educated in all of them that it's mind boggling. (If you don't know precisely what you're talking about, you know how to bullshit with the best of them.) From what I've sampled, you're a marvelous cook, and it's heartlifting to see your progress in dealing with what life's thrown you. I'm so glad you're my friend.

Date: 2007-01-27 05:22 pm (UTC)I don't generally consider myself a bullshitter, but I'm also never sure I'm truly well-informed. A person's only an expert until they meet someone better informed than themselves. I just think of myself as curious. And I like to think of knowledge as being extremely flexible and more fun when shared, not just outgoing from me, but incoming, too. (I'm terribly susceptible for making friends or dating sheerly for a desire for more information. "Oh you do X? I'm interested in X! Let's be friends." This isn't always a good basis for friendship, particularly if said person is totally uninterested in anything outside of X, which all too often has included me.)
Anyway, thanks for the compliment. That's the nicest thing anyone has said about me in a very long time.
