Week 3 (yes, I'm late)

To preface this image, I will say that I really don't like doing still lives. I really, really don't. I'm not terribly happy with this one, but it's not horrible, either.  It will suffice.

Mixed media (acrylic and pastel) approx. 6.5" x 5.5" as matted.

When I showed Babe the picture and asked him what the green thing was, he responded "appa," so I am satisfied.

Hopefully my brother will like it. :-)

I've also done week 4's, but I'm not going to post it just yet.  Hopefully I'll be able to post week 4 and 5 the same day (I've sketched out week 5's... I just need to get some nice paper for it now. :-)  Anyway, point being is that I'll soon be caught up.  Yay.
