I just realized that I don't write Neville or Luna. Hardly ever, anyway. So if they aren't in character, I hope you'll forgive me.

Prompt: Neville/Luna and a mythical plant.

"Why do you want to find Raskovnik?" Neville asked again as they trudged through another meadow.

"I want to unlock something, of course," Luna replied, looking around the field with wide, dreamy eyes.

"Yes, so you said," Neville muttered, scowling down at his feet. "Do you at least have whatever it is with you?"

"It would be pointless to look without it, don't you think?"

Neville smiled and shook his head fondly. Luna was such a puzzle, though he was looking forward to trying to figure her out. He looked back at her with a smile which she answered in kind.

"I think we're getting closer," she said, and took his hand in hers.

Perfection! This is exactly why I've always thought Luna and Neville were well suited. Her open acceptance of people the way that they are is balm to his self-conscious soul, while his wonder at the variety of the natural world is piqued by her quirky theories.

That kind of boggles my mind, as well. Although, at least she did admit at some point that she could see why everyone thought they were perfect for one another.
