She requested Sirius, the bike and the lady of my choice. It took forever, but these were what I came up with... Hope they amuse you and that you feel better really soon.
(PS: I finally got inspiration to write Sirius after looking at this awesome, awesome pic by
caladan_dd. Now that's a Sirius I could write about! Scrimgeour, too... Mmmm.)
"That's what you spent your inheritance on?" Lily sounded mildly offended.
Sirius smiled. "Yeah. Ain't she a beaut? And I can just imagine mother's reaction, too!" He gasped, sputtered, then seized up and fell to the ground, stiff as a board.
James laughed and helped him up. "You could always hope, mate."
"James!" Lily scolded, appalled. "Don't say that!"
"You haven't met her, love," James pleaded.
"And let's keep it that way," Sirius muttered darkly.
"Well, it's still an awful thing to say!"
Sirius grinned, tipped his sunglasses down and said, "Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side!"
Sirius was surrounded by girls, yet again. Looking closer, Minerva could see there were just as many boys as girls standing around in admiration. Curiosity piqued, she made her way down the hill and through the crowd, stopping short at the sight of a gigantic motorbike.
"What in Godric's name is that?" she cried.
Sirius smiled. "My new motorcycle. Want to go for a ride, Professor?"
Minerva sniffed, looking appalled. "Ride... Don't tell me you're planning to ride this monstrosity here?"
Sirius grinned, tipped his sunglasses down and extended his hand. "Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side!"
