The sea. The air. The view. The sound. The long, sandy beach. Saturday's perfect weather, and today's walk on the beach in the gentle rain.

Laughing so hard it hurt... more than once. Getting to know awesome people just a little better. Being flirted with by (very drunk) cute guy.


Lowlights:

mozzies and lots of 'em. Many infected bites even with staying in before dusk.

Babe got a BAD sunburn. And that was with sunscreen. Feeling a bit better now, but ears and neck will be sore for days.

sun rose at 5 saturday morning. I saw it. So did half the kids in the building. *thumpthumpthump*

'zausted now.



Another downside is that the phone was ringing when we got back. Was work. Which is where Geoff is right now. On the plus side, at least he took Babe with him so I'll get a nice shower and kip in without worries.

But still. He was supposed to have till Tuesday!

Fuckers.

Yes, I remembered that from last year, though I'll confess I didn't remember yesterday. ;-) Thank you got the happiness, and thankfully, Babe did have aloe and is feeling much better now.
