Though, I must say that the time spent away from the computer was fairly good. After all, I reread "Goodnight, Mr. Tom" and read "Plum Spooky" and "Cotillion" - my first ever Heyer. I can see why so many of you love her work. I just wish the library had "The Grand Sophy". Ach well.

So, in the time I was forced to stay away from the computer, I have:

- done the filing (at least six months' worth)
- unstuffed and restuffed the clone, with added spine and waist support to good effect (pictures later)
- whinged all to myself (and Geoff) about feeling crummy without bothering anyone else (Geoff doesn't count)!
- tidied up the workroom enough to actually use the chop saw again (to make the waist support)
- started a textile painting. Pictures will be coming because I am in serious need of con crit.
- went shopping at whole foods. Ouch. (but yuuuummm.)
- managed to get a burn during one of my three days of doctor-ordered sun-bathing. I couldn't have been in the sun for more than twenty minutes. Made me feel super crappy, though, so I missed the last day of yesterday's sunshine. Boo.

I did not:
- pen any responses to comments, though I thought many out (and have since forgotten most of them...)
- read the last four days of entries on my friends' list. If anything happened that you want me to know about, please do give me nudge in the right direction, as I doubt I will be catching up anytime soon.
- finish my second pair of palazzo pants
- do any drawing
- do any laundry (oops)
- do much cooking (though an awful lot of prep work went on)
- do much cleaning at all, except for the living room and kitchen after the clone was finally finished, because I could NOT stand the extreme pit the living room had become after all the fluff from the first stuffing of the clone (v.2.0) exploded like someone had tossed a grenade into a teddy bear factory. Seriously slippery stuff on hard surface floors, that fiberfill, btw. They should have black label warnings on the package. *snerk*

It rained something fierce here today. Again. This time it actually caused one black and three brown-outs, though. I think the blackout is what fixed the computer, as we hadn't actually rebooted the modem, silly us. But MN decided to be nice and fix the problem for us. Yay! Now I just need to hook up the usb thingy and download all my photos and voila! Wheeness.

Shame about Geoff's computer, though. I don't have access to PS anymore. :-(

Anyway, that's about all that's on my mind right now. Sad, ain't it?

ETA Note to self: Do not take plaq on empty stomach. ALWAYS eat something before taking the stuff. Eating immediately after taking it is NOT the same as eating beforehand and you WILL regret it.

You will be better than fine, Dicky, darling, so you needn't panic.
