LJ ate all my post except the subject line. Probably just as well. I am seriously pissed, and I used excessive exclamation marks and caps-lock and ranted about the stupidity of husbands and all that.

I won't try to write it out again, but suffice to say: god damn, I am mad.

Fortunately for all of us, the storm has passed. But tell me, are kids inundated with sugary confections (including foods that shouldn't be sweet) at every turn over there in Europe or is it just another peculiarity of the US?

There are a lot of sweets, yes, and awful breakfast cereals (which we don't buy), but I think there's less in the way of 'hidden' sugar in things that shouldn't have it. I think - I rarely buy pre-prepared food.

I had a day of being furious with my husband this week too. Seems to be the week for it. Oh man, I wish I lived near you and we had the option of meeting up for hot chocolate and ranting! *hugs*
