Another painting finished?
Oct. 29th, 2006 05:26 pmDecisions, decisions...
I've finished the first step of my next painting, but I like how it looks well enough that I'm not sure I want to take it to the next step. The next step will probably look cool, but it will alter the feeling of the piece a lot, and very possibly take away the mystery of the image.
But it would look pretty cool.
Okay, so here's the painting. Unfinished. Maybe.
The color balance is a bit messed up, as the bottom bit is a touch greener, and the grayish bit is a bit purpler (is that a word?), but it gives the general gist.

I have a crudely "digitally enhanced" version of the way the painting would look after (if) I take the next step, but I want your opinions on what you think this one is, first. I want to know if it becomes terribly obvious what it is after the next step, or if it continues to remain... ambiguous?
Just tell me if I'm becoming too demanding wanting your opinions and all. I s'pose I could filter this for only those interested. If you'd like that, let me know. I don't want to bore ya'll.
Cheers!
